- It's easy, but you'll have to look
- in your modem manual for the (couple of) characters that you have to add to
- your
- initial. string. Look for "reporting DCE" speed. You're currently getting
- DTE speed (which no one really wants reported anyway). Or maybe someone
- will know off-hand.

- p.s. I assume you're modem can report it. But maybe not all of them have
- that option.
